Fall is a BIG season for us. Usually around September long weekend hives are full to the brim and ready to be brought in for extraction. In a short hectic burst, we'll transport the supers to our quonset to cap the frames and spin the honey into a holding container. From there it will be poured into containers and be packaged for sale.

There are still other things to do in the fall. The remainder of the vegetable garden (especially the potatoes and squash) needs to be harvested and the farm needs to be prepared for winter.
